Animal Print Christmas Tree

Happy Monday and Merry soon to be Christmas. Have you finished your Christmas shopping? I haven't started yet. So today I will be making a mad dash to the store, to get it done. Any who, I didn't do a lot of decorating this year, so I figured I would share a Christmas tree from a few years ago. I had purchased several spools of ribbon that I loved. I wanted to use the ribbon, but I didn't know how or where. At the time I purchased the ribbon decorating trees with poly mesh was BIG business. I liked the look of the poly mesh trees, but I didn't have any on hand. So I decided to decorate the tree with the ribbon......

Animal print ribbon....
I am slowly easing you into the finished tree, so be patient. I used not one, not two, but three different ribbons. What can I say about the tree topper? I like it because it's everywhere, sort of like my hair! lol. You like?

The addition of the ornaments and poinsettias add depth, dimension and sparkle. Gotta have that sparkle! Did I mention animal prints are my fave?

Even the tree skirt is trimmed in animal print! Are you still with me? Almost there....
Drum roll please....

Here's the decorated tree. So what do you think?

I used the remaining peacock ribbon to make the doors in the entry look festive, and to coordinate with the tree. Have you ever used any animal prints in your Christmas decorating?

Thanks for stopping by!

Lory

  1. Hi Lory, Merry Christmas! I love your animal print ribbons! I really like the peacock ribbon & feathers. I have a peacock as the topper on my tree. I wanted peacock feathers, but I didn't want to over spend this year.
