Several weeks ago I shared the demolition and tiling of our upstairs bathroom. So today, I am back to reveal the vanity that we chose for the space. As I mentioned in an earlier post, I wanted something super simple and no fuss. Plus, I wanted the vanity to be open concept.
So the Hubs drew up something to fit the bill. I also decided that I didn't want any shelves. Instead I would use decorative baskets to house all of our everyday items. So, with plans in tow we headed to our neighborhood home improvement store. There we picked out and purchased the items needed for the vanity.
The construction was super simple, and once the vanity was complete a couple coats of espresso stain was added to give the vanity a somewhat rustic patina.
Next a solid surface counter top as well as a drawer pull was added to complete the vanity.
I will do a post on the sources later.
This counter top was chosen for it's versatility, and I think it would pair well with most decor styles.
Here's the finished vanity. So what do you think? I think the Hubby did an AWESOME job, and I absolutely love the finished product!!!
Here's to your home,
